So now we're 40 out of 50k done! :) WOO HOO HOO!!
Two more scheduled, and will actually wrap up slightly over 50k.... The Wurst 5-miler is more like 8k, not 5. Looking to keep going into 2016 and possibly do a 10-MILE in April. Wow -
Who'd a thunk it?
And no - I'm not getting any better about training, but I have HIGH hopes for the cooler weather. Cpn Rusty is a GREAT coach, so he's very good about getting me going. Thing is - if I train with him, we have to go at 5am. That's SUPER early for me.... I didn't make it this morning, I had a very restless night, finally fell asleep at about 5am and slept until after 8:30. It's almost 8pm now, so I'm about to turn off the electronics and go work on a paper book study I've signed up for.
So this is a quicky update....

I hope whoever* is reading this is feeling like they can do anything! I'm nobody special, just a regular gal, slightly overweight, middle aged, etc. I didn't even know if I could do this when I got the hare-brained idea about a year ago. But guess what? This BadA$$ finished a Freakin' TEN K this past weekend!!! :)
How to start running:
1) Put on running shoes. 2) Go outside. 3) Run! (Or, in my case, walk very very fast - like you drank too much coffee earlier and still have 2 miles to go!)
